Detex EAX 500 Battery Powered Surface Mount Alarm

The Detex EAX-500 is designed for applications that require an alarmed exit device on secured doors.  The alarm, with approximately 100dB, will sound when someone attempts an unauthorized exit.  The EAX-500, with it's redesigned shape and smaller size make it the choice for quick and easy installations on emergency exit and restricted doors.

Detex EAX 500 Models:

• EAX-500 GRY- this is default unit in powdered gray finish.
• EAX-500 BLK- this is powdered black finsish.
• EAX-500W GRY- weatherized feature in powdered gray finish.
• EAX-500W BLK- weatherized feature in powdered black finish.

*No cylinders are included with this unit (the cam lock towards the top is included - this is how you take off the cover). A mortise cylinder is required to use this lock from inside (cylinder in bottom). If you want to operate this lock from outside the door you will need to purchase a rim cylinder too*
