Simplex 900 Series Auxillary Keyless Lock
 

Simplex 900 Series push button mechanical door locks are a popular choice for storerooms, service duct doors, and student accommodations. Designed for easy installation in addition to, or as replacements for existing locks.

 

The 900 Series lock offers deadbolt or automatic spring latch protection, plus a special security lock to meet US Department of Defense standards. (DOD)

 

Features:

• This push button keyless lock has exterior access by combination only.
• Egress is free at all times using a manual thumbturn
• deadbolt models have to be manually relocked
• deadlocking spring latch models automatically relock each time the door closes. The deadlatch models include a hold back feature that allows you to leave the unit in an unlocked postions.
• Standard latch holdback for spring latch models includes allen wrench for gaining access to change combination.

Requirments: The model 929 security lock complies with paragraph 36a of the Industrial Security Manual published by the US Department of Defense (DOD), and is approved as a substitute for guard forces in the protection of closed and restrricted areas in the facilities of DOD contractors.

Simplex model # 929 meets the following requirments for a security lock:

• Combination change access can be padlocked (on inside of door, padlock not included)
• NO latch holdback
• spring latch with deadlocking trigger (prevents prying the latch when the door is closed)
