Schlage lock A series hardware is a heavy duty residential and medium duty commercial lockset. For interior doors of multi-family dwellings and military facilities. Also ideal for exterior doors of fine homes

"A" series lever locks are non- handed and can be installed on doors from 1 3/8" - 1 7/8" thick.

Lock Functions:

Passage Lockset - A10S

Both knobs are always unlocked from inside and outside

Exit Lock - A25D

Blank plate outside. Inside knob always unlocked.

Patio Lock - A30D

Push-button locking. Turning inside knob or closing door releases button, preventing lock-out.

Privacy Lock - A40S

Push-button locking. Can be opened from outside with a small screwdriver. Turning inside knob or closing door releases button

Communicating Lock - A43D

Turn-button in outer knob locks and unlocks knob and outside thumbturn

Single Dummy Trim - A170

Dummy trim for one side of the door. Used for door pull or as matching inactive trim

Push-button locking; Pushing button locks outside knob until unlocked by key or by turning inside knob

Classroom Lock - A70PD

The outside knob is locked or unlocked by key. When unlocked the lockset works as a passage set. When the lock is locked, you must use a key from outside to unlock the lockset. The inside knob is always unlocked

Communicating Lock with Blank Plate - A79PD

Locked or unlocked by key from outside. Blank plate inside.

Storeroom Lock - A80PD

Outside knob is fixed, entrance by key only. Every time the door closes this unit will lock, it cannot be left unlocked. The inside knob is always unlocked

Faculty Restroom Lock (with Indicator Cylinder) - A85PD

Outside knob fixed. Entrance by key only. Push-button is inside knob activates visual occupancy indicator, allowing only emergency master key to operate. Turning inside knob or closing door releases visual occupancy indicator. Rotation of inside spanner-button provides lock-out feature by keeping indicator activated.

Strikes: Square corner. 1 1/8" x 2 3/4" with 1 1/8" lip (29 mm x 70 mm with 29 mm lip). T-strike, furnished with dust box, standard. Optional lip lengths 1" through 2" (25 mm - 51 mm) available. ANSI 1 ¼" x 4 7/8" (32 mm x 124 mm) strike, 1 3/16" (30 mm) and 1 3/8" (35 mm) lips available.
