Our policy is straight forward- We respect your privacy plain & simple. Under no circumstances will we release any information about our customers or mailing list subscribers; not your name, email address, phone number or any other information we ask you for.
Shipping
Most orders are processed within the same business day from original receipt of order, and approval of payment. We offer several options for shipping orders through UPS, USPS & Fed-Ex. Our website is set up to offer you UPS shipping automatically, if you prefer that we use Fed-Ex please mention this during checkout when asked for any comments. All shipping charges will be indicated on your order form. We have the right to substitute Fed Ex for UPS or vice versa depending on shipping location. We will always substitute with the identical form of shipping; ie: if you paid for overnight shipping, you will receive overnight shipping, if you paid for 3 day, you will receive 3 day shipping.
Shipping to Canada: We charge and collect for shipping only. Taxes, Duties and border fees as well as any other related charges are customer’s responsibility.
Key Machine, Keys and Safes: Due to the heavy weight in some of these products and our internet software not being able to determine where they will ship from (many come directly from the manufacturer) we reserve the right to make changes to shipping method and (or) prices. We will always contact you prior to any additional charges. KEY MACHINES, KEYS AND SAFES ARE NOT RETURNABLE UNLESS DEFECTIVE and in that case you will receive a replacement.
Whenever we offer free shipping, product will be sent by UPS or Fed-Ex ground,.
All FREE shipping offers only includes the continental United States of America, not Hawaii, Alaska , Puerto Rico or APO/FPO addresses

Return & Exchange
Discontinued items can NOT be returned.
No returns on orders less then $50 (not including taxes and shipping)
Upon receipt of merchandise inspect product carefully, should you find that the product does not meet your expectations, or satisfaction, contact us immediately and tell us your concerns, so we may make every effort to satisfy your purchase. We will not accept any returns on locksmith tools, any items listed as discontinued, special order items, or items held for more then 14 days. Obviously we will exchange any item which was delivered defective or in the rare instance of shipping the wrong product.
We will accept stock items returned within 14 days of receiving it - MUST be in new condition, Installed units are not considered new condition. subject to a 25% restocking fee. We will accept defective returns within the manufacturer's warranty period if sold by Lock Depot. The customer is responsible for all shipping charges related to returns.
To return items follow the instructions below:
Call us or E-Mail us from our contact page for a return authorization number, and in it describe briefly the reasons for your requested return. You must receive an RMA# before you return any goods to us, the RMA# must appear on your return packing label. Merchandise without an RMA will be refused, and no credit will be issued. RMA's are valid for ten(10) days from date of issuance.
DO NOT ship anything back until you receive the proper warehouse address to ship back to - we utilize many warehouses across America
All returned/exchanged merchandise must be in original factory condition and must include, all accessories, packing material, inserts, manuals, warranty cards (not filled-out) the box in which it was shipped in. Shipments of returns must be prepaid, and we will not accept COD returns. No return will be accepted if it is sent back in its original box only, meaning that all products will be in their original box inside the packing box.
NO LOCKSMITHING TOOLS OR SOFTWARE OF ANY KIND IS RETURNABLE
HIGH SECURITY LOCKS & CYLINDERS CANNOT BE RETURNED
FACTORY ORDERS CANNOT BE RETURNED
WE WILL NOT ACCEPT BACK ANY HARDWARE THAT HAS BEEN INSTALLED.
Cancel an order
Orders can be canceled as long as it has not been processed for shipping. Once an order has been packaged it goes on a pallet for shipping company to pick up. Pallets are wrapped up with plastic - so once a package is on a wrapped pallet it cannot be canceled. At that point your only option is the return/exchange policy. Refused orders will be treated like a return. Factory/Special orders cannot be canceled or returned

When you submit an order to Lock Depot you agree to all our policies.
We cannot be held liable for any damages created by any products we sell due to any reason such as, but not limited to: improper installation, defective hardware, locks and/or safes that are bypassed by a thief or any person that has figured out how to defeat them.
