When it comes to high-security containers, government SCIFs, and commercial safes, Sargent & Greenleaf (S&G) is the standard. From the legendary 6730 mechanical combination lock to modern biometric and digital solutions like the Spartan and Titan series, S&G hardware is engineered to prevent unauthorized access. At Lock Depot, we provide the precision tools and locks that locksmiths and safe technicians trust.
We stock the S&G 2740B electromechanical locks for GSA-rated containers and the popular S&G 6120 electronic safe locks for quick-access commercial use. Whether you are retrofitting an old jewelry safe or maintaining a bank vault, S&G provides the UL-rated security required for high-value protection. We also carry replacement dials, rings, and keypad assemblies.
While digital safe locks like the S&G Titan offer incredible convenience and "One-Time Code" (OTC) features, the 6730 Mechanical Lock is still the king of longevity. If the safe is in a remote location or rarely used, go mechanical—there are no batteries to leak and no electronics to fry from a power surge.
S&G safe hardware ships brand new with full UL certification from our warehouses across America. Order by 2 PM EST for same-day dispatch.

Yes. Most S&G safe locks use a "Universal Footprint," meaning you can swap a mechanical 6730 for a digital Titan or Spartan without drilling the safe.
A Pivotbolt (Spartan) automatically retracts the bolt when the code is entered. A Direct Drive requires you to turn the keypad or a handle to manually move the bolt. Pivotbolts are generally easier for daily use.
Under normal use, a high-quality 9V alkaline battery will last about 12 months. We always recommend using Duracell or Energizer—never generic brands in a safe lock.
