    A standard panic bar simply latches the door. Arm-A-Dor combines a heavy-duty push bar with an automatic relocking deadbolt and an optional 95dB alarm. When the door closes, the deadbolt engages automatically without needing a key, providing significantly more security against forced re-entry.

    Is Arm-A-Dor compliant with fire and life-safety codes?

    Yes. Arm-A-Dor exit devices are designed to meet life-safety requirements. The push bar allows free egress in an emergency while the automatic relock feature secures the door after each use. Fire-rated models like the A102 are UL listed for use on fire-rated openings.

    Can the alarm be disabled on an Arm-A-Dor unit?
