    What is anti-fishing technology in a depository safe?

    Anti-fishing technology uses jagged baffle plates and angled chutes inside the deposit slot to prevent anyone from using wires, tape, or tools to pull deposits back out after they have been inserted. This protects against both internal employee theft and external break-in attempts.

    Can a Protex wall safe be installed in an existing wall?

    Yes. Most Protex wall safes are designed to fit between standard 16-inch stud spacing. They can be installed in existing drywall by cutting an opening and securing the safe to the studs. Some models include a flange that covers the cut edges for a clean finished look.

    What is the difference between a depository safe and a drop box?

    A depository safe is a freestanding unit that sits on the floor and accepts deposits through a slot or hopper on the top or front.
