The HES 9500 is the fire-rated surface mount strike for rim exit devices with up to a 3/4" Pullman latch. 3-hour UL 10C fire rating (fail-secure only). NFPA 80-07 compliant for fire-rated frame retrofit. 3/4" thick stainless steel housing. Separate base and cover — much easier to adjust than the old one-piece designs. 1,500 lbs static, 70 ft-lbs dynamic. Dual voltage 12/24 VDC. Not windstorm rated — that's the 9600. But if the opening is fire-rated and has a rim panic device, this is the one. CAL FIRE approved. Works on metal and wood frames.
Finished in satin brass. Includes latchbolt and strike position monitoring for full door status feedback to your access control panel.
