The Arrow BM38 is a Grade 1 classroom security function mortise lock — key locks and unlocks the outside lever from either side of the door. Inside lever always free. This is the lockdown-capable classroom function — teacher can lock the door from inside the room without opening it. Required by many school districts for active threat protocols.

Ventura lever on H Escutcheon in 605 bright brass. Fits standard 1-3/4" doors, 2-3/4" backset, field reversible. Conventional 6-pin cylinder included. ANSI A156.13 Series 1000, UL listed for 3-hour fire doors.
