A: The V51 handles doors from 84" to 96" in height. For standard 36" wide doors at standard height, use the V50 instead. The V51 uses extended vertical rods and longer pushbar assemblies to match tall openings.
Q: Can I use V50 trim on a V51?
A: Yes — V51 uses the same outside trim as the V50 and V40 series. The only difference is the device body length and vertical rod lengths for taller doors.
