The Von Duprin XP98TP-US3-4 is an extra protection rim exit device with thumbpiece trim in Bright Brass. Built on the proven 98/99 series platform for single and double doors with mullion, the XP features a heavy-duty smooth mechanism case and Von Duprin's legendary touch bar. UL listed for panic exit hardware, ANSI/BHMA A156.3 Grade 1 certified. The XP (Extra Protection) model adds a reinforced shield over the mechanism case to resist forced entry attempts and vandalism — a must for high-risk openings. Sized for 3'1" to 4' openings.
