Securitron Fire Alarm Reset (FAR)

Application - The FAR module is designed to work in conjunction with the Securitron BPS and BPSM series power supplies and a fire alarm panel (by others). Whenever the FAR receives a signal from the fire alarm it will switch off the output of the BPS/BPSM power supply. The power supply will stay in this mode until a manual reset is instituted by turning the key switch mounted in the face of the FAR module. This feature is required in certain jurisdictions to prevent the security system from automatically (when the fire alarm is reset) re-locking doors during an evacuation.
