Detex BE-961 Battery Eliminator Models

• The Detex BE-961-1 battery eliminator is designed to power security devices such as the Detex ECL-230D, ECL-600 battery powered series exit control locks, V40 alarmed rim exit device or EAX-500 exit alarms (the BE-961-2 will power the ECL-230 and ECL-600), without reliance on batteries.
• the BE-961 can drive up to three ECL-230D's , three ECL-600's, three V40's, or three EA-500's. The wire run from the most remote unit to the BE-961 should not exceed 75 feet using 18 gauge stranded wire.
• The BE-961 may be installed on the wall adjacent to the protected door quickly and easily. Flexible armored cable connects the battery eliminator to the security device without interfering with door use. For extra security, the connecting cable may be concealed in the door using a continuous electric hinge.

Features:

• Two models are available, BE-961-1 and BE-961-2. The -2 model includes an internal alarm which sounds at 95dB if the secure power feed wires are cut or when the ECL unit sounds.
• The BE-961 outputs are 9VDC or 6VDC, jumper selectable, to the security device. Line input transient suppression and power status LED are standard features.
• State-of-the-art electronic closed-loop circuit operation.
