Replacement solenoid for Von Duprin electric strikes. The solenoid is the electromagnetic component that releases the strike when triggered by the access control system. When it stops responding to signals, this kit gets it back online.
Pro-Tip from Our Locksmiths: When the solenoid fails, check your voltage FIRST — a 24VDC solenoid on a 12VDC supply won't fire, and a 12VDC solenoid on 24VDC will burn out fast. Match the voltage to your power supply. Field selectable models (FS/FSE) let you switch between fail-safe and fail-secure at the strike.
