Product Description
Surface vertical rod devices secure at the head and threshold with rods visible on the door face. The standard configuration for double doors without a center mullion — each leaf latches independently into the header and floor.
The Sargent 12-8706J-LHR-3 is a fire-rated Grade 1 surface vertical rod exit device from the 80 Series for 42" openings with Storeroom function — outside trim is always locked, key required for every entry. Push bar always operates from inside for emergency egress. UL listed for fire-rated openings up to 3 hours.
