22L-F-SP28-3-LHR Von Duprin 22 Series with Left Handed 230L Lever Fire Rated Rim Mounted Exit Device in Sprayed Aluminum
The Von Duprin 22L-F-SP28-3-LHR is a wide stile pushpad rim exit device built for standard aluminum storefront and glass doors. Lever Trim — outside lever retracts the latch for entry. Lever operation controlled by cylinder on keyed functions. Ships less cylinder — order a mortise cylinder separately to match your existing keyway.
The 22 Series pushpad provides a clean, modern activation surface that blends with aluminum storefront framing. Available in 3-foot width to match your door size. Unlike crossbar devices, the pushpad concentrates the push area in the center of the door for a streamlined look. UL listed for fire exit hardware — no mechanical dogging on fire-rated models. ANSI/BHMA A156.3 Grade 1 certified.
Pro-Tip from Our Locksmiths: The most common 22 Series install issue is strike alignment on aluminum frames. The strike pocket on storefront frames is often shallow — check your frame depth before ordering. If it's under 1", you may need a shim kit or surface-applied strike.
