The Von Duprin 22L-F-SP28-4-LHR is a wide stile pushpad rim exit device built for standard aluminum storefront and glass doors. Lever Trim — outside lever retracts the latch for entry. Lever operation controlled by cylinder on keyed functions. Ships less cylinder — order a mortise cylinder separately to match your existing keyway.
The 22 Series pushpad provides a clean, modern activation surface that blends with aluminum storefront framing. Available in 4-foot width to match your door size. Unlike crossbar devices, the pushpad concentrates the push area in the center of the door for a streamlined look. UL listed for fire exit hardware — no mechanical dogging on fire-rated models. ANSI/BHMA A156.3 Grade 1 certified.
Pro-Tip from Our Locksmiths: The 22 Series comes in sprayed finishes (SP28 Aluminum, SP313 Dark Bronze) that hold up well on exterior storefront doors. The sprayed finish is tougher than standard US finishes for weather exposure. If the door faces direct sun and rain, go with SP28 — the dark bronze shows weathering faster.
