The Von Duprin 3527A-L-F-US15-2-RHR is a touch bar surface vertical rod exit device from the 35A Series family. Lever Trim — outside lever retracts the latch for entry. Ships less cylinder — order a mortise cylinder separately to match your existing keyway.
The 3527A uses surface-mounted vertical rods for top-and-bottom latching. Standard choice for pairs of doors where both leaves need to be active. UL listed for fire exit hardware — no mechanical dogging on fire-rated models. ANSI/BHMA A156.3 Grade 1 certified.
Pro-Tip from Our Locksmiths: Surface vertical rod devices need proper strike alignment at both the header and threshold. If either strike pocket is too shallow — common on older frames — you'll need surface-applied strikes. Check before you order.
