3527A-T-US28-4 Von Duprin 3527A Series with 360T Thumbturn Vertical Rod Exit Device in Anodized Aluminum
The Von Duprin 3527A-T-US28-4 is a touch bar surface vertical rod exit device from the 35A Series family. Thumbturn — inside thumbturn controls the latch. Common on 33A/35A series. Ships less cylinder — order a mortise cylinder separately to match your existing keyway.
The 3527A uses surface-mounted vertical rods for top-and-bottom latching. Standard choice for pairs of doors where both leaves need to be active. Available in 4-foot width. UL listed for panic exit hardware with hex key dogging standard. ANSI/BHMA A156.3 Grade 1 certified.
Pro-Tip from Our Locksmiths: Surface vertical rod devices need proper strike alignment at both the header and threshold. If either strike pocket is too shallow — common on older frames — you'll need surface-applied strikes. Check before you order.
