This Simplex 5010 is the outside trim for a rim exit device, and the exit device is sold separately. dormakaba lists Von Duprin 98/99 and 22, Sargent 8800 and 8888, Corbin Russwin ED5200, Precision 21, Detex 10, Yale 7100 and 2100 and dormakaba 9300 among the compatible rim devices. It does not fit mortise or vertical rod exit devices.
