5100-695 Von Duprin 5100 Series Electric Strike for Cylindrical Locksets and Deadlatches in Dark Brown Finish
The Von Duprin 5100-695 series electric strikes are designed to offer flexibility and convenience for locksmiths and security professionals alike and compatible with a wide range of cylindrical devices and is extremely versatile for field conversions. This easy-to-install electric strike was created for medium-duty applications, specifically to control traffic flow through interior and exterior openings in retail and commercial environments. The 5100 was developed by Von Duprin's high standards and engineering expertise. Its heavy-duty construction and tamper resistant design is able to withstand abuse and are tested to over one million cycles and provides 1300 lbs holding strength. It comes standard with three faceplates for hollow metal, wood or aluminum frames in every box.

⚡ Fail Safe vs. Fail Secure — What's the Difference?
Fail Safe — Strike unlocks when power is lost. The door can be opened freely during a power outage. Required on most fire-rated egress doors for life safety. This is the default for fire exits and emergency egress paths.
Fail Secure — Strike remains locked when power is lost. Key override is always available from outside. Used for server rooms, evidence rooms, or anywhere security must be maintained during a power failure. The mechanical push bar still allows free egress from inside.
