55EO-US26 Von Duprin 55 Series Exit Only - Rim Exit Device in Bright Chrome
The Von Duprin 55EO-US26 is a narrow stile rim exit device built for aluminum storefront and glass doors where standard-width exit devices won't fit. Exit Only — push bar operation from inside only, no outside lever or pull. Free egress from inside. No cylinder required for this function.
The 55 Series crossbar design provides a wide "strike zone" for egress on doors with stiles as narrow as 1-3/4". Unlike modern pushpad devices, the crossbar spans nearly the full width of the door — giving occupants maximum activation area in an emergency. This is a handed device — verify LHR or RHR before ordering. UL listed for panic exit hardware with hex key dogging standard. ANSI/BHMA A156.3 Grade 1 certified.
Pro-Tip from Our Locksmiths: The 55 fits stiles as narrow as 1-3/4" — but measure your actual stile, not the door. If you're between 1-3/4" and 2", the 55 is your only Grade 1 option from Von Duprin. Below that, you're looking at a rim panic with a narrow stile trim adapter.
