The Sargent 60-8239-LNB-32D is a Classroom function mortise lock from the 8200 Series — Sargent's flagship commercial mortise platform that's been trusted on schools, hospitals, office buildings, and government facilities for decades. Classroom function — the outside lever is key-controlled: unlock for class, lock for security. Inside lever is always free for egress. The lock relocks automatically when the door closes.

This one comes with LN Rose, B Lever in Satin Stainless — the 32D finish that laughs at corrosion. Coastal, pool areas, food service, anywhere moisture is a factor. Costs more than chrome but outlasts it 3-to-1 in harsh environments.

The B lever is Sargent's bread-and-butter commercial design — ADA compliant, returns to horizontal after use, non-handed so it works on any door. You'll find it on thousands of doors in every school district and hospital in the country.
