    The Sargent 60-8255-LNA-26-LH is a Entry/Office function mortise lock from the 8200 Series — Sargent's flagship commercial mortise platform that's been trusted on schools, hospitals, office buildings, and government facilities for decades. Entry/Office function means one key turn unlocks the outside lever, and it stays unlocked until you deliberately relock it with the key. Inside lever is always free. This is the lock that makes sense for daily office use.

    LFIC Prep — Ships With Housing, Less Core — The 60- prefix means this lock ships with an LFIC housing (cylinder) instead of a standard pinned cylinder. Install the lock in the door first, then screw the LFIC housing into the lock body like any mortise cylinder. Order your LFIC core separately to match your building's keyway — the core snaps into the housing with a control key. No re-pinning, no tools, swap takes 10 seconds. That's why universities and hospitals love LFIC — one lost key doesn't mean rekeying a whole building.

    This one comes with LN Rose, A Lever in Bright Chrome — the high-polish 26 finish that makes a statement in upscale lobbies, executive suites, and retail environments. It shows fingerprints more than satin, but the visual impact is worth it in the right application.
