The Sargent 60RX-8270-24V-LW1L-26 is a Fail Safe function mortise lock from the 8200 Series — Sargent's flagship commercial mortise platform that's been trusted on schools, hospitals, office buildings, and government facilities for decades. Fail Safe electric operation wired for 12/24VDC from your access control panel, card reader, or keypad system. The lock retracts the latch automatically when power is cut — code-required on fire-rated egress doors.
This one comes with LW1 Escutcheon, L Lever in Bright Chrome — the high-polish 26 finish that makes a statement in upscale lobbies, executive suites, and retail environments. It shows fingerprints more than satin, but the visual impact is worth it in the right application.
The L lever is Sargent's straight-design commercial lever — clean lines, ADA compliant, gets the job done without drawing attention to itself. The lever that disappears into the building.
