The Sargent 60RX-8272-12V-LNL-32D is a Fail Safe function mortise lock from the 8200 Series — Sargent's flagship commercial mortise platform that's been trusted on schools, hospitals, office buildings, and government facilities for decades. Fail Safe electric operation wired for 12VDC from your access control panel, card reader, or keypad system. The lock retracts the latch automatically when power is cut — code-required on fire-rated egress doors.
This one comes with LN Rose, L Lever in Satin Stainless — the 32D finish that laughs at corrosion. Coastal, pool areas, food service, anywhere moisture is a factor. Costs more than chrome but outlasts it 3-to-1 in harsh environments.
The L lever is Sargent's straight-design commercial lever — clean lines, ADA compliant, gets the job done without drawing attention to itself. The lever that disappears into the building.
