The Sargent 70-8204-LW1L-26D is a Storeroom function mortise lock from the 8200 Series — Sargent's flagship commercial mortise platform that's been trusted on schools, hospitals, office buildings, and government facilities for decades. Storeroom function means the outside lever is always locked — you need a key every single time you enter. Inside lever is always free for egress. No one can accidentally leave this door unlocked.

This one comes with LW1 Escutcheon, L Lever in Satin Chrome — the 26D finish you see on 90% of commercial jobs because it hides fingerprints, resists wear, and matches every other piece of hardware in the building. When in doubt, 26D is the safe bet.
The L lever is Sargent's straight-design commercial lever — clean lines, ADA compliant, gets the job done without drawing attention to itself. The lever that disappears into the building.
