The Sargent 70RX-8270-24V-LE1J-32 is a Fail Safe function mortise lock from the 8200 Series — Sargent's flagship commercial mortise platform that's been trusted on schools, hospitals, office buildings, and government facilities for decades. Fail Safe electric operation wired for 24VDC from your access control panel, card reader, or keypad system. The lock retracts the latch automatically when power is cut — code-required on fire-rated egress doors.
This one comes with LE1 Escutcheon, J Lever in Bright Stainless — mirror-polished 32 finish for high-end applications where corrosion resistance and visual impact both matter.
