    Concealed vertical rod devices hide the rods inside the door for a cleaner appearance. The trade-off for better aesthetics? The door must be prepped for internal rod routing, and field service requires removing the push bar.

    The Sargent 715-4-ETL-RHRB-4 is a Grade 1 concealed vertical rod exit device from the 80 Series with Passage function.

Stand OUTSIDE the door and face it: if the hinges are on the LEFT, it's Left Hand (LH). If the hinges are on the RIGHT, it's Right Hand (RH). For doors that swing toward you, add 'Reverse' — LHR or RHR.
