The Von Duprin 7547 is the 75 Series concealed vertical rod exit device — rods run inside the door, invisible from both sides. The 7547EO 3 711 is Grade 1, narrow stile pushpad, 3-foot door, Satin Black Anodized (US19/711).
Exit Only — push bar retracts both concealed rods simultaneously. No outside trim. The 7547 replaces the 9847 from the 98 Series family. Architects spec concealed rods when they want the multi-point security of vertical bolts without any visible hardware on the door face. Hex key dogging standard.
Pro-Tip from Our Locksmiths: When installing concealed rods, the most common issue is bottom rod alignment with the floor strike. Use the alignment template Von Duprin includes in the box. If the bottom bolt isn't hitting center on the strike, the rod guide needs shimming. Saves a callback.
