The Sargent 8225-WTA-32D-LH is a Dormitory function mortise lock from the 8200 Series — Sargent's flagship commercial mortise platform that's been trusted on schools, hospitals, office buildings, and government facilities for decades. Dormitory function — inside thumbturn controls the outside lever. Key override from outside for maintenance and emergencies.
This one comes with WT Escutcheon, A Lever in Satin Stainless — the 32D finish that laughs at corrosion. Coastal, pool areas, food service, anywhere moisture is a factor. Costs more than chrome but outlasts it 3-to-1 in harsh environments.
