Adams Rite does not build that switch into the device — it ships as a field kit. A monitored 8511 is two line items: this device, plus monitor kit 91-0897-01 (single switch). Order the device on its own and you get the device without the switch.
On a 30" door Adams Rite requires the MLR option before it will accept monitoring at all.
