The Von Duprin 8847L-F-SPBLK-RHR is a narrow stile concealed vertical rod exit device that hides the rods inside the door stile for a clean, unobstructed look. Exit Only — push bar operation from inside only, no outside trim. Free egress from inside. No cylinder required for this function.
The 8847 provides top-and-bottom latching with concealed rods — nothing visible on the door face. The cleanest option for pairs of narrow stile glass doors. This is a handed device — verify LHR or RHR before ordering. UL listed for fire exit hardware — no mechanical dogging on fire-rated models. ANSI/BHMA A156.3 Grade 1 certified.
