88TP-US26 Von Duprin 88 Series with 880TP Thumbpiece Non Fire Rated Rim Exit Device in Bright Chrome
The Von Duprin 88TP-US26 is a narrow stile pushpad rim exit device built for aluminum storefront and glass doors where a modern, low-profile look is required. Thumbpiece Trim — outside thumbpiece depresses to retract the latch. Ships less cylinder — order a mortise cylinder separately to match your existing keyway.
The 88 Series pushpad design sits close to the door surface for a clean appearance on narrow stile doors. It fits door stiles as narrow as 2 inches. This is a handed device — verify LHR or RHR before ordering. UL listed for panic exit hardware with hex key dogging standard. ANSI/BHMA A156.3 Grade 1 certified.
Pro-Tip from Our Locksmiths: The 88 is handed — you must specify LHR or RHR at order. The pushpad mechanism is factory-set and cannot be field-reversed without voiding the warranty. Double-check your handing before you order.
