The 9857TP-F-US28-4 is a Von Duprin 9857 Series Surface Three Point Latch exit device in Aluminum (US28/628), sized for 4' doors. Thumbpiece Trim — thumbpiece-operated outside trim for keyed entry. Night latch function with thumbpiece activation. Ships less cylinder — order a mortise cylinder separately to match your existing keyway.
Fire Rated — UL listed for use on fire-rated openings. Mechanical dogging is deleted per UL code on fire-rated models. Field-reversible handing.
Pro-Tip from Our Locksmiths: When servicing a 9857 three-point latch, check all three latch points independently. A misaligned top or bottom bolt can cause the whole device to bind. Adjust strikes one at a time, starting with the rim latch, then top, then bottom.
