98L-F-US4-4-RHR Von Duprin 98 Series with 996L Lever Right Handed Fire Rated Rim Exit Device in Satin Brass
The 98L-F-US4-4-RHR is a Von Duprin 98 Series rim exit device in Satin Brass (US4/606), sized for 4' doors. Classroom Function — outside lever is locked until unlocked by key, relocks automatically when door closes. Ships less cylinder — order a mortise cylinder separately to match your existing keyway.
Fire Rated — UL listed for use on fire-rated openings. Mechanical dogging is deleted per UL code on fire-rated models. Field-reversible handing.

The 98 uses a standard rim strike, but on hollow metal frames you may need a longer lip strike if the frame rabbet is deeper than standard. Most callbacks on rim devices are strike alignment — get it right at install.
