The CXA98DT-F 3 26D is a Von Duprin 98 Series rim exit device in Satin Chrome (US26D/626), sized for 3' doors. Dummy Trim — non-functional outside pull for appearance. Provides a handle on the outside without any latch control. No cylinder required for this function.
Chexit Alarm — Chexit delayed egress alarm — provides a 15-second delay with audible alarm before allowing exit. 24VDC.
Fire Rated — UL listed for use on fire-rated openings. Mechanical dogging is deleted per UL code on fire-rated models. Field-reversible handing.
Pro-Tip from Our Locksmiths: When quoting 98 rim devices, check the frame for strike compatibility. The 98 uses a standard rim strike, but on hollow metal frames you may need a longer lip strike if the frame rabbet is deeper than standard. Most callbacks on rim devices are strike alignment — get it right at install.
