The Sargent LC-8204-LW1L-BSP is a Storeroom function mortise lock from the 8200 Series — Sargent's flagship commercial mortise platform that's been trusted on schools, hospitals, office buildings, and government facilities for decades. Storeroom function means the outside lever is always locked — you need a key every single time you enter. Inside lever is always free for egress. No one can accidentally leave this door unlocked.
This one comes with LW1 Escutcheon, L Lever in Black Suede — a textured matte black finish that's more forgiving than smooth black. Hides scratches, fingerprints, and daily wear better than any polished finish.
The L lever is Sargent's straight-design commercial lever — clean lines, ADA compliant, gets the job done without drawing attention to itself. The lever that disappears into the building.
