The Sargent LC-8245-LE1E-26D is a Dormitory function mortise lock from the 8200 Series — Sargent's flagship commercial mortise platform that's been trusted on schools, hospitals, office buildings, and government facilities for decades. Dormitory function — inside thumbturn controls the outside lever. Key override from outside for maintenance and emergencies.
This one comes with LE1 Escutcheon, E Lever in Satin Chrome — the 26D finish you see on 90% of commercial jobs because it hides fingerprints, resists wear, and matches every other piece of hardware in the building. When in doubt, 26D is the safe bet.
