The Sargent LC-8255-LE1L-26 is a Entry/Office function mortise lock from the 8200 Series — Sargent's flagship commercial mortise platform that's been trusted on schools, hospitals, office buildings, and government facilities for decades. Entry/Office function means one key turn unlocks the outside lever, and it stays unlocked until you deliberately relock it with the key. Inside lever is always free. This is the lock that makes sense for daily office use.

This one comes with LE1 Escutcheon, L Lever in Bright Chrome — the high-polish 26 finish that makes a statement in upscale lobbies, executive suites, and retail environments. It shows fingerprints more than satin, but the visual impact is worth it in the right application.
The L lever is Sargent's straight-design commercial lever — clean lines, ADA compliant, gets the job done without drawing attention to itself. The lever that disappears into the building.
