The Sargent LC-8270-12V-LNF-10B is a Fail Safe function mortise lock from the 8200 Series — Sargent's flagship commercial mortise platform that's been trusted on schools, hospitals, office buildings, and government facilities for decades. Fail Safe electric operation wired for 12VDC from your access control panel, card reader, or keypad system. The lock retracts the latch automatically when power is cut — code-required on fire-rated egress doors.
This one comes with LN Rose, F Lever in Oil Rubbed Bronze — the 10B finish with a living patina that develops character over time. Popular in boutique hotels, upscale restaurants, and residential-feeling commercial spaces.
