Built on the same platform as the 4011, the 4021 adds delayed action — the door stays open briefly before starting its closing cycle, giving people extra time to pass through. Ships in Aluminum finish — the standard architectural finish that blends with most commercial door frames.
Pro-Tip from Our Locksmiths: The 4021's delayed action is adjustable. If the door is holding open too long in a fire corridor, dial back the DA valve. Fire marshals will flag closers with excessive delay on fire-rated openings — 10 seconds max is the rule.
