The LXRX98EO-F 3 315 is a Von Duprin 98 Series rim exit device in Polished Bronze, sized for 3' doors. Exit Only — push bar operation from inside only, no outside trim. Free egress from inside. No cylinder required for this function.
Electric Latch Retraction — Electric Latch Retraction with latch bolt monitoring for access control integration. 24VDC.
Fire Rated — UL listed for use on fire-rated openings. Mechanical dogging is deleted per UL code on fire-rated models. Field-reversible handing.
Pro-Tip from Our Locksmiths: Hex key dogging is standard on non-fire-rated 98 rim devices. That means you can hold the latch retracted during business hours so the door operates as a push/pull. Fire-rated models delete dogging per UL code — if the customer needs doors to stay open on a fire-rated opening, budget for mag holders tied to the fire alarm.
