The QEL-98TP-US3-3 is a Von Duprin 98 Series rim exit device in Bright Brass (US3/605), sized for 3' doors. Thumbpiece Trim — thumbpiece-operated outside trim for keyed entry. Night latch function with thumbpiece activation. Ships less cylinder — order a mortise cylinder separately to match your existing keyway.
Quiet Electric Latch Retraction — QEL motor-driven latch retraction provides quiet, ADA-compliant remote unlocking. 24VDC power required.
ANSI/BHMA A156.3 Grade 1 certified. Hex key dogging standard. Field reversible handing.

The 98 uses a standard rim strike, but on hollow metal frames you may need a longer lip strike if the frame rabbet is deeper than standard.
