The QEL98L-NL-06-F 3 315 LHR is a Von Duprin 98 Series rim exit device with L-06 Lever trim in Black (315/315), sized for 3' doors. Night Latch — outside lever locks and unlocks by key, inside always free for egress. Ships less cylinder — order a mortise cylinder separately to match your existing keyway.
Quiet Electric Latch Retraction — QEL motor-driven latch retraction provides quiet, ADA-compliant remote unlocking. 24VDC power required.
Fire Rated — UL listed for use on fire-rated openings. Mechanical dogging is deleted per UL code on fire-rated models. Field-reversible handing.

The 98 uses a standard rim strike, but on hollow metal frames you may need a longer lip strike if the frame rabbet is deeper than standard. Most callbacks on rim devices are strike alignment — get it right at install.
