The Von Duprin RX7847WDCNL-OP-F-313-4 is a concealed vertical rod exit device that hides the rods inside the door stile for a clean, unobstructed look. Night Latch with Optional Pull — outside lever locks and unlocks by key with optional pull handle. Inside always free for egress. Ships less cylinder — order a mortise cylinder separately to match your existing keyway.
The 7847 provides top-and-bottom latching with nothing visible on the door face — the cleanest option for pairs of storefront glass doors. Available in 4-foot width. This is a handed device — verify LHR or RHR before ordering. UL listed for fire exit hardware — no mechanical dogging on fire-rated models. ANSI/BHMA A156.3 Grade 1 certified.
Pro-Tip from Our Locksmiths: When you're installing the 7847 on a pair of doors, the inactive leaf needs either a flush bolt or a matching 7847 device. If both doors are fire-rated, you also need a coordinator for proper closing sequence. None of these are included — quote them separately.
