The RX98EO 4 US10B is a Von Duprin 98 Series rim exit device in Oil Rubbed Bronze (US10B/613), sized for 4' doors. Exit Only — push bar operation from inside only, no outside trim. Free egress from inside. No cylinder required for this function.
Request to Exit — Request to Exit switch signals the access control system when the exit device is activated. 24VDC.
ANSI/BHMA A156.3 Grade 1 certified. Hex key dogging standard. Field reversible handing.
Pro-Tip from Our Locksmiths: When quoting 98 rim devices, check the frame for strike compatibility. The 98 uses a standard rim strike, but on hollow metal frames you may need a longer lip strike if the frame rabbet is deeper than standard. Most callbacks on rim devices are strike alignment — get it right at install.
