RX98L-BE-02-F 4 32D LHR Von Duprin 98 Series Passage Fire Rated Rim Exit Device in Satin Stainless Steel
The RX98L-BE-02-F 4 32D LHR is a Von Duprin 98 Series rim exit device with L-02 Lever trim in Satin Stainless Steel (US32D/630), sized for 4' doors. Classroom Function — outside lever is locked until unlocked by key, relocks automatically when door closes. Ships less cylinder — order a mortise cylinder separately to match your existing keyway.
Request to Exit — Request to Exit switch signals the access control system when the exit device is activated. 24VDC.
Fire Rated — UL listed for use on fire-rated openings. Mechanical dogging is deleted per UL code on fire-rated models. Field-reversible handing.
Pro-Tip from Our Locksmiths: When quoting 98 rim devices, check the frame for strike compatibility. The 98 uses a standard rim strike, but on hollow metal frames you may need a longer lip strike if the frame rabbet is deeper than standard. Most callbacks on rim devices are strike alignment — get it right at install.
