The RX98L-NL-18 4 US4 RHR is a Von Duprin 98 Series rim exit device with L-18 Lever trim in Satin Brass (US4/606), sized for 4' doors. Night Latch — outside lever locks and unlocks by key, inside always free for egress. Ships less cylinder — order a mortise cylinder separately to match your existing keyway.
Request to Exit — Request to Exit switch signals the access control system when the exit device is activated. 24VDC.
ANSI/BHMA A156.3 Grade 1 certified. Hex key dogging standard. Factory set RHR, field reversible.
Pro-Tip from Our Locksmiths: When quoting 98 rim devices, check the frame for strike compatibility. The 98 uses a standard rim strike, but on hollow metal frames you may need a longer lip strike if the frame rabbet is deeper than standard. Most callbacks on rim devices are strike alignment — get it right at install.
