The RX98TP-F 3 US28 is a Von Duprin 98 Series rim exit device in Satin Aluminum (US28/628), sized for 3' doors. Thumbpiece Trim — thumbpiece-operated outside trim for keyed entry. Night latch function with thumbpiece activation. Ships less cylinder — order a mortise cylinder separately to match your existing keyway.
Request to Exit — Request to Exit switch signals the access control system when the exit device is activated. 24VDC.
Fire Rated — UL listed for use on fire-rated openings. Mechanical dogging is deleted per UL code on fire-rated models. Field-reversible handing.
Pro-Tip from Our Locksmiths: When quoting 98 rim devices, check the frame for strike compatibility. The 98 uses a standard rim strike, but on hollow metal frames you may need a longer lip strike if the frame rabbet is deeper than standard. Most callbacks on rim devices are strike alignment — get it right at install.
